The top is cut from a single slab of natural marble, its veining running uninterrupted; no two are alike. The stone is sealed against staining, so oil and tea wipe away clean.
The doors are solid wood veneer, four of them paired in two bays on concealed soft-close hinges that shut quietly. Two adjustable shelves inside.
The difference in temperature between marble and wood is the most quietly arresting contrast a light-luxury room can hold.
